Meet Sophie and Ilona, two expat mums, who met in Dubai and quickly bonded over their love of tea, family time, and a shared passion for home décor. Sophie’s from France, Ilona’s from South Africa, and together they bring a lovely mix of their cultures into everything at Maison Manar.

We’re so lucky to work with a small group of talented artisans who put their heart and soul into every piece they make. Their attention to detail means we can offer products that we’re truly proud of, and we believe that by doing things the right way, we’ll earn the trust and loyalty of our customers.

We’re passionate about keeping traditional crafts alive and supporting the communities behind them. By featuring handmade items, we hope to create a real connection between you and the people who make these beautiful pieces—each one tells a story and reflects the maker’s culture and craft.
